Hello! My name is Stephanie Soliman, I’m an event planner and owner of The Candie Cart.
Six years ago one of my best friends discovered she was expecting her first child. Without hesitation, I said, “I’m planning your baby shower!” and the rest is history. Little did I know, I was about to realize a latent talent of mine that would eventually become one of my burning passions.
As time went on, almost like a popcorn maker, my friends were getting married and creating little humans one after the other. Before I knew it, I was being requested to plan birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, christenings, bar/bat mitzvahs, bachelorette parties, weddings…you name it!
Eventually I began to notice a common favorite: the candy table. I had planned a Cinderella themed sweet 16 and thought, “Who’s Cinderella without her pumpkin coach?!” and that’s when I knew I needed to bring something different to the scene. For years my mother had been telling me to build a candy cart; a very popular trend in Europe (not so much in America).
Enter The Candie Cart, a creation of my own design.

I’ve been in the hospitality industry since I was 14 doing everything from children’s parties to banquets and managing a restaurant.“Do what you love, love what you do”. What can I say? I love food and parties! The fine details that make a first impression are key.
My recipe to make dreams come true consists of a few ingredients: imagination and passion sprinkled with sparkle and love. There is no better feeling than taking that step and seeing your vision come to life!
